Why I Started This Site

Sentimental version: To remember where I came from by documenting every step of my growth.

Idealistic version: To share my thoughts and insights with the world, and to grow alongside everyone else.

Pragmatic version: To build a personal brand—it’s never too late to start, even at eighteen.

What’s This Blog For?

Currently, it serves primarily as a space for my notes on algorithms and coursework, while also documenting the evolution of the blog itself.

I also envision it as an online resume—though, given my current level, there’s still a long way to go.

Tech Stack

  • Framework: Next.js App Router + TypeScript
  • Content: TinaCMS (which allows for visual editing of MDX documents and page content—though I soon realized the backend is actually quite terrible).
  • Styling: A custom "glassmorphism" theme built from scratch using Tailwind CSS.
  • Deployment: Vercel, with the entire site statically pre-rendered; images and articles can be updated on demand.

I chose this stack for two simple reasons:

  1. Familiarity—it’s what I already know.
  2. Convenience—it’s easy to manage.
